Crimean businessmen establishing business contacts with Nicaragua — authorities

The proposal was made to create the Association of Friendship with Nicaragua in order to develop cooperation projects in different areas

Entrepreneurs from Crimea are interested in cooperation with Nicaragua and are establishing business contacts in the sphere of trade and tourism with the Central American republic, the government of Nicaragua said in its statement, Qazet.az reports.

"They expressed high interest in establishing ties with Nicaragua, import of products from Nicaragua and opening of stores with traditional Nicaraguan foods for consumption by local residents and tourists in Sevastopol in future," the government said. "The proposal was made to create the Association of Friendship with Nicaragua in order to develop cooperation projects in different areas," it added.

It was noted that a group of businessmen met diplomats in the Embassy of Nicaragua in Moscow on Friday to discuss establishment of interaction.
