Deputies proposed to create conditions for South Azerbaijanis to study in higher schools
"Our compatriots living in the territory of Iran turn to us and say that they are deprived of the right to study in their native language. I suggest that certain concessions should be made to them and that they should not be treated as foreign students if they study in Azerbaijan."
Qazet.az reports that these words were said by the Chairperson of the Culture Committee of the Milli Majlis, Ganira Pashayeva, during her speech at the plenary session of the Parliament held on November 17.
He noted that our compatriots living outside the state border should be supported when they come to Azerbaijan and want to study here.
G. Pashayeva added that families of martyrs, war veterans and veterans are always in the state's attention: "I suggest that war participants be on the list that can benefit from preferential mortgage conditions, because they need it. It would be good to give concessions when their children receive paid higher education."
The deputy also complained about the high prices of drugs on sale in the country: "I suggest that the issue of reducing the price of drugs should be considered and a certain mechanism should be prepared."
