Deputy: "70% of Yevlakh has water problems"
"Today, 70% of Yevlakh region has a drinking water problem."
Qazet.az reports that this was said by MP Ilham Mammadov at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis held today.
"We have villages with 2-6 thousand inhabitants, where there are no artesian drains and water treatment facilities. 17 villages do not have artesian wells at all. It would be acceptable to allocate funds to solve these problems in the future.
The bridge built over the Kura River in Yevlakh is completely unusable. This was determined by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in 2015. Movement on the bridge, which used to have a capacity of 60 tons, was reduced to 5 tons. The fact that this bridge is in an unusable condition has cut off the connection of 21 villages, including 30 thousand people, with the district center," he said.
