Deputy Minister: More than 960 schools are unusable or partially unusable in Azerbaijan Idris Isayev
At present, more than 960 schools in Azerbaijan are unusable or partially unusable.

Qazet.az reports that this was announced by the Deputy Minister of Science and Education Idris Isayev on the Law "On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2023" of the Public Unions and Religious Institutions, Science and Education, Family, Women and Children's Affairs, Health, and Culture Committees of the Milli Majlis. he said during his speech at the joint meeting held on November 10 regarding the discussion of the project.

The deputy minister said that 434 of those schools are in an unusable condition:

"More than 3 billion funds are needed for the repair or construction of those schools. Of course, repair works are always carried out in stages. Both the Ministry of Science and Education and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation repair or rebuild approximately 100 schools every year. This issue is always in the center of attention and is one of the priority directions.
