Qazet.az reports that this was stated by Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev at the Azerbaijan Investment and Young Entrepreneurs Forum, which was jointly organized by the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy.

"Azerbaijan, in the new strategic development stage, is aiming at such goals as strengthening the innovation orientation and financial stability of the national economy, activating sustainable economic growth drivers, and rapid reintegration of our territories freed from occupation. In this regard, the state provides wide support for increasing the economic activity of young people in our country, involving them in entrepreneurial activities, supporting start-ups, and implementing investment projects. As a result of all this, the number of young entrepreneurs has been increasing in recent years," he said.

E. Aliyev added that as a result of the complex measures implemented in our country, against the background of the increase in geopolitical tensions at the global level, the dynamic development processes in the economy of Azerbaijan intensified somewhat during the months of January-October of this year: "During this period, the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in real terms increased by 5 .2%, and the added value produced in the non-oil and gas sector increased by 9.7%. "Our strategic foreign exchange reserves have exceeded the value of GDP for 2021, amounting to 56.4 billion US dollars."
