Azerbaijani ecologists holding a protest action in Karabakh will continue the action until the commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces, Major General Andrey Volkov, arrives at the scene.
Qazet.az reports with reference to "Report".
According to him, the protesters demand monitoring for the protection of Azerbaijan's natural resources: "We demand monitoring in order to get to know the current state of our natural resources. However, the peacekeepers do not allow us."
K. Alizade stressed that the protesters are waiting for the representatives of the peacekeepers: "We expect the commander of the peacekeepers, Major General Andrey Volkov, to come and listen to our demands, but he has not come yet. The action has been going on for more than two hours, but there is no result yet."
It should be noted that today in Shusha territory, Azerbaijani activists and members of environmental non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are holding a protest on a part of the road under the control of Russian peacekeepers, demanding an end to environmental terrorism in the Karabakh economic region.
