According to the country's Ministry of Health and Population, the number of new cases of infection detected daily is also growing. Over the past day, 960 new cases have been registered, compared to 941 the day before. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, Egypt has recorded 346,800 cases of infection, and 19,707 people have died.
