Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Azerbaijan for the official support given to Ankara in connection with the terrorist attack in Istanbul.

"I would like to thank all the countries and international organizations that condemned the terrorist attack on Istiglal Avenue, shared our grief, and offered condolences," he said.
In addition to Azerbaijan, the flags of the USA, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, China, Ukraine, Israel and other countries were reflected in R.T. Erdogan's post.
It should be noted that on November 13, a terrorist attack was committed on Istiklal Street in Istanbul, Turkey. As a result, 6 people died and 81 people were injured.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the perpetrator of the terrorist act, Ahlam Albashir, was detained. He admitted that he is connected with the PKK terrorist group.
