Erdogan: We recently successfully tested the Typhoon missile

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that gas produced in the Black Sea will soon be delivered to the homes of the country's citizens. Also, in 2023, a domestic combat aircraft will take to the air for the first time.

Qazet.az reports according to Anadolu, on the A Haber TV channel, the president said: “BOTAŞ will complete an onshore pipeline this month to connect gas to the national system. The explored reserves of the Sakarya field are 540 billion cubic meters, and this figure is likely to grow.”

Erdogan added that thanks to modern drilling rigs, Turkey's capabilities have greatly expanded. He noted that proposals for cooperation in the exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons are already being received: “There are various proposals from partners. Libya is interested in our natural resource exploration services.”

The head of the Turkish state touched upon the issues of regional and global security. He accused Greece of escalating tension in the Eastern Mediterranean and called for an end to the policy of provocation.

“Greece needs to come to its senses. They must learn that they will not achieve anything good by provocations. We recently tested the Typhoon rocket. It has a flight range of 561 kilometers, and this is not the limit, it will increase. Soon you will hear good news about missiles like Cenk and Traveler,” Erdogan stressed.

The Turkish President also said that in 2023, the domestic combat aircraft will take off: “Hürjet, Bayraktar Kızılelma, TB3 will land on our aircraft carrier Anadolu. Atak-2 will make its first flight."

Erdogan continued his speech with Turkish-Israeli relations. The President noted that the normalization process serves the interests of both peoples.

"Regardless of the election results, we want to maintain relations with Israel on a sustainable basis, based on mutual respect and common interests," said President Erdogan.

The President said that the construction of a nuclear power plant in Turkey is one of the most important topics: “We, along with the construction of the Akkuyu NPP and the Sinop NPP, are planning the construction of a third nuclear power plant in Turkey. Intensive work is being carried out in this direction.”
