EU ambassador: "The new agreement with Azerbaijan will bring our relations to a new level"

Qazet.az report  that Peter Mikhalko, the head of the European Union (EU) representation in Azerbaijan, said this at a press conference held in Baku on December 15.

The ambassador emphasized that the negotiations on this agreement are ongoing, and in this regard, the next stage has already been moved.

"If this agreement is signed, our relations will rise to a qualitatively new level and even better results will be achieved," he said.

P. Mikhalko noted that the trade turnover between the EU and Azerbaijan has increased to a record level.

According to him, more than 50 percent of Azerbaijani products are exported to European markets.
