Europe at highest risk of war in 30 years - Polish FM

“It seems that the risk of war in the OSCE area is now greater than ever before in the last 30 years” said Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau

Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau said on Thursday that today Europe is facing one of its most dangerous moments, being at its most significant risk of war in 30 years, Qazet.az reports citing Teletrader.

"It seems that the risk of war in the OSCE area is now greater than ever before in the last 30 years (…) For several weeks we have been faced with the prospect of a major military escalation in Eastern Europe," stated Zbigniew Rau during his speech presenting the program of the Polish OSCE Chairmanship 2022.

Later, without referring directly to Russia, he mentioned the conflicts in Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Ukraine, all of which Russia has been alleged to be a party.
