Europe receives over 6.8 million refugees from Ukraine

More than 6.85 million refugees arrived in Europe from Ukraine, Qazet.az reports according to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.

More than 3.93 million of them were registered in European states within national protection and assistance programs.

A total of 2,308,790 Ukrainian refugees left for Russia, 1,338,339 for Poland, 967,000 for Germany, and 415,859 for the Czech Republic as of August 23.
