European Championship: Azerbaijani judoka won his first match

Azerbaijani judoka Nizami Imranov won the European Youth Championship held in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic.

According to Qazet.az, the athlete who performed in the 60 kg weight category faced Ricardo Pires (Portugal) in the 1/16 final stage.

In the golden point division, Imranov won over his opponent with a vazari point and advanced to the 1/8 finals. The athlete will meet Tornike Maziashvili (Georgia) in the next round.
