Expeditions related to the assessment of the ecological condition of the Caspian Sea are held

"Alif Hajiyev" scientific-research ship conducts regular expeditions in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea in order to assess the ecological state of the sea, study its biological resources, hydrological state and determine the negative effects on the environment.

Nazim Mahmudov, head of the Khazar Complex Ecological Monitoring Department, informed Qazet.az about this.

According to him, an expedition group consisting of experts and scientists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Oil Company, Baku International Sea Trade Port conducts monitoring from north to south in the Caspian Sea 4 times a year with a research vessel.
