Families of martyrs to be granted concessions on income tax in Azerbaijan

One of the amendments envisaged in the Tax Code for 2023 is granting tax concessions amounting to AZN 800 regarding the monthly taxable income (salary income) of parents, widows, and widowers, children of the person who was granted the status of martyr, as a result of the intervention of the USSR troops on January 20, 1990, as well as the parents and widow and widowers of the persons who died during the defense of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as their children, there are concessions related to their monthly income (salary income) that must be taxed, State Tax Service told Qazet.az reports

Strengthening the social protection of socially vulnerable population groups, including persons with war-related disabilities, families of martyrs, war veterans, and other victims is one of the main directions of the social policy implemented in our country.
