According to Qazet.az reports, before the opening match between the teams of Qatar and Ecuador, it was stated that the capacity of the arena was 60,000, but it was noted that there were 67,732 fans in the stands.

FIFA said that the capacity of 40,000 fans is the number that meets the institution's requirements. The final capacity is determined after the stadium preparations are completed.
