In the last 1 year, the value of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia has increased by more than 60%, and there is potential to increase it further.

Qazet.az reports that this was stated by the co-chairman of the Joint Commission on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov at the Azerbaijan-Saudi Arabia business forum held in Baku.

"This year, an agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia's Acwa Power company on the construction of a 240 MW wind energy park in Azerbaijan. We believe that such agreements can be signed in various fields. There may be companies from Azerbaijan that consider investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia. , they can participate in various development projects," he said.
