Former deputy head of executive power arrested in courtroom in Azerbaijan

Gultakin Sadigova, a former deputy head of the Neftchala District Executive Power for socio-political and humanitarian affairs, was arrested in the courtroom.

According to Qazet.az, the court trial on the criminal case of Ismayil Valiyev, former head of the Neftchala District Executive Power, Vurgun Akbarov, former first deputy head of the Executive Power, Gultakin Sadigova, former deputy head of the Executive Power for socio-political and humanitarian issues, Vugar Nagiyev, head of the Architecture and Construction Department, Ajdar Karimov, head of the Education Department, Anar Jafarov, head of the Department for Territorial Administration and Local Self-Government, and Telman Zahidov, chief doctor of the Central Hospital, has ended.

Gultakin Sadigova was sentenced to six years and six months in prison in the administrative building of the Sabunchu District Court, presided by the Judge of the Lankaran Court of Grave Crimes Nizami Guliyev.
