"Formula 1": Max Verstappen can formalize his 2nd consecutive championship at the weekend

"Red Bull" pilot Max Verstappen can become the world champion in "Formula 1" for the 2nd time in a row this weekend.

According to Qazet.az reports if the Dutch driver wins the Japanese Grand Prix and has the fastest lap, he will win the title regardless of the results of his rivals.

If the 25-year-old finishes first without a fast lap, he will have to rely on Ferrari's Charles Leclerc to finish third or lower for the championship.

Verstappen can get his wish by finishing 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. For this, the results of his teammate Sergio Perez and Leclerc will be considered.

Verstappen, who currently has 341 points, leads the drivers' standings. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc took second place with 237 points, while Sergio Perez, another Red Bull pilot, took third place with 235 points.
