Geographical names of the liberated territories of Azerbaijan have been restored in online maps

"Another topic which is implemented in the direction of combating disinformation was appealing to the administrators of online map platforms in connection with cases of deliberately changing various geographical names belonging to our country, including the names of territories liberated from occupation and these names have been restored," said Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rovshan Rustamov, Qazet.az reports.

He noted that a draft law "Action plan on preventing the use of the maps referring to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the occupation in a distorted form" has been also developed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport​​​​​.
