Data compiled by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) showed 19,572 people tested positive for the COVID-19 during the past day in Germany, Qazet.az reports citing Teletrader.
The figure marks the country's highest daily jump in coronavirus cases since May. The number of people who contracted the virus to date in Germany currently stands at 4,437,280.
