Germany plans to commission 2 more LNG receiving terminals

The opening of another LNG terminal in Germany’s Lubmin is planned for next week, and another terminal will be introduced in the coming weeks, German Economy Minister Robert Habeck told reporters at a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, Qazet.az reports.

Communication with journalists was broadcast live on the official website of the Norwegian government.

“We already have a terminal for receiving LNG in the German port of Wilhelmshaven. Lubmin will be opened next week, in Brunsbruttel in the coming weeks. Thus, we were able to build an LNG infrastructure that can replace one third of Nord Stream 1 supplies in 10 months, although normally in Germany it would take 10 years,” Habeck said.
