STIKO issued a statement adding that pregnant women, regardless of age, should also be inoculated with the Pfizer jab
The German Robert Koch Institute's Standing Committee on Vaccination (STIKO) advised on Wednesday that those under the age of 30 receive a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer/BioNTech, Qazet.az reports citing Teletrader.
STIKO issued a statement adding that pregnant women, regardless of age, should also be inoculated with the Pfizer jab.
The committee attributed the decision to the lower number of heart inflammations observed in those given the Pfizer jab than in those vaccinated with the shot developed by Moderna Inc.
