Germany will train 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers by the spring of next year
Germany intends to complete the training of a 5,000-strong Ukrainian military brigade within the framework of the EUMAM Ukraine training mission by the spring of 2023.

Qazet.az reports with reference to "Interfax" that German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz said this during his speech in the Bundestag.

According to him, thanks to Germany's transfer of military equipment to partner countries, those countries sent about a hundred tanks from their arsenals to Ukraine.

He said that Ukraine received enough financial support to meet its needs until the end of the year: "Thus, in addition to the official humanitarian and military support to Kyiv, $20.7 billion has been allocated, and in total, financial support in the amount of $33.3 billion should be allocated this year. ".

It should be recalled that on October 17, the Council of Foreign Relations of the EU adopted a decision on the creation of the "EUMAM Ukraine" mission in order to increase the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The program, which is planned for a period of 2 years, includes the training of the Ukrainian military, as well as the coordination of the efforts of the European countries that support this training.
