Azerbaijani customs officials have faced the fact of violation of the law that they have never encountered before.

Qazet.az reports about this with reference to the State Customs Committee.

According to the information, construction goods manufactured in Armenia, which were not declared to the customs body, were discovered among other goods at the "Silk Road" customs post of the Baku General Customs Department of the Committee.

Until now, Armenian goods that were tried to be illegally imported into the country usually consisted of food products and alcoholic beverages. The goods discovered this time were 24,820 containers for silicone products used in construction works and 1,050 empty cardboard boxes intended for packing silicone product containers.

It was determined that these goods were sent by a company operating in Iran to the address of an individual in Azerbaijan.

But for what purpose were these goods with writings in Armenian brought to Azerbaijan? The Committee and the State Security Service are conducting a joint investigation.
