Group of service members arrested in Armenia

The deputy commander of the military unit's battalion in terms of moral and psychological support had violated the rules of combat duty

A group of Armenian soldiers accused of violating the rules of combat duty during the November 16 battles have been arrested.

Qazet.az informs, citing Armenian media, that, according to the Investigative Committee of the country, on the same day, during the battles, four service members left their post and fled. Twenty-four more servicemen who fled the combat positions were captured by Azerbaijani soldiers.

One more officer was arrested within the framework of the criminal case. It turned out that the deputy commander of the military unit's battalion in terms of moral and psychological support had violated the rules of combat duty.
