Hande Harmanci: “Without applying tight lockdowns we can live in Azerbaijan”

“We know that the number of infections has decreased since September. The number of people receiving a second dose of vaccine exceeds 40. I express gratitude to the Azerbaijani population. Thanks to all these, we can live comfortably in Azerbaijan without applying tight lockdowns,” said Head of the World Health Organization in Azerbaijan Hande Harmanci, Qazet.az reports.

According to her, within the framework of the project supported by WHO and EU equipments especially protecting medical workers have been brought to the country: “There are also equipment for severe patients. We hope that by the end of the project we will continue to support regarding both technical support and equipments.”
