The useful life of the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine that is currently used in our country is until December 31, 2021
Taking into consideration comments of the European Medicines Agency and US Food and Drug Administration, World Health Organization has sent a letter to relevant bodies of the countries, which use Pfizer/Biontech vaccine in vaccination against COVID-19, on the extension of shelf-life of the vaccine, Ministry of Health told Qazet.az.
According to information, in accordance with the letter, the useful life of Pfizer/Biontech medicine is extended from 6 months to 9 months. In connection with this, the useful life of the Pfizer/Biontech vaccine that is currently used in our country is until December 31, 2021.
