Hot weather to persist next week in Azerbaijan 

In the second half of the week, rains are possible mainly in northern and western regions on July 22-23

The hot weather conditions with no precipitation is expected to persist across the country for the first half of next week. Moderate northwestern wind may occasionally intensify, Qazet.az reports.

The air temperature will peak at 38-40°C, 42-44°C in some places in lowlands, 30-33°C in mountains, 33-38°C in Baku and Absheron peninsula.

The air temperature will slightly drop to 34-39°C in lowlands, 22-26°C in mountains, and 30-33°C in Baku and Absheron peninsula.
