Humanitarian situation worsening in Mariupol

Heavy fighting and Russian airstrikes have continued on the port city of Mariupol, Qazet.az reports according to the latest intelligence update from the UK's Ministry of Defence.

UK intelligence said the humanitarian situation in the city was "worsening".

"Most of the city’s 160,000 residents have no light, communication, medicine, heat or water. Russian have prevented humanitarian access, likely to pressure defenders to surrender," its latest statement said.
