Illegal circulation of cigarettes has been prevented in Azerbaijan
The sale of a large amount of illegally imported cigarettes to Azerbaijan was prevented.

Qazet.az reports was informed about this by the State Customs Committee.

It was reported that as a result of the operational measure conducted by the staff of the Baku General Customs Department of the Committee, the sale of cigarettes illegally brought to the country was stopped.

Thus, during the inspection of the "Hyundai Elantra" car driven by an Azerbaijani citizen, 59,348 cigarettes of 64 different brands were found in the interior of the car, stacked above the rear seats and in the cargo area.
