In the last day, 40 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in Azerbaijan, 42 people were treated and recovered.

According to the information provided to Qazet.az by the Operative Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, one person whose analysis samples were positive died.

So far, a total of 823,889 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection in the country, 813,669 of them have been treated and recovered, and there are currently 251 active patients. 9,969 people have died so far.

During the last day, 1,571 tests were performed to determine new cases of infection, and a total of 7,353,252 tests were performed to date.
