"Increasing benefits, pensions, and scholarships from the next year is also related to price rise, which coincides with a post-pandemic period in the global scope," Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at the meeting of Economic policy, Entrepreneurship and Social Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis on the discussion of the draft law “On the budget package of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022”, Qazet.az reports.

Minister noted that it has been reflected in the project, presented regarding processes ongoing in the global economy: "Restoration processes in the world economy happen unequally after the pandemic. Certainly, Azerbaijan's economy has not been secured from these processes. That is why President Ilham Aliyev signed the relevant order. Head of state has instructed on the conduction of special measures in order to soften these impacts."
