Iran discovers new gas field

Initial calculations show that natural gas stock of the field is about one trillion cubic meters

"A new natural gas field with a capacity of one trillion cubic meters has been discovered in Iran," said Speaker of Energy Commission of Iranian Parliament Malek Shariati Niaser, Qazet.az reports according to APAnews.

According to him, a new field has been discovered in the north of South Pars gas field.
