Iran's foreign minister commented on the protests in the country

Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahiyan, while commenting on the unrest in the country, said that it will not lead to regime change.

In an interview with NPR, the head of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that most of the protests are the product of foreign media and foreign propaganda.

"I assure them that nothing special is happening in Iran. There will be no regime change in Iran. Do not play with the emotions of the Iranian people," he stressed.

Abdollahian recalled that Mahsa Ami's death was "seriously investigated" and noted that Iranian President Raisi had called Ami's family.
