Referring to the company, Qazet.az reports that the "Microsoft" company does not stop the activity of its representative office in Azerbaijan.

"Microsoft's Azerbaijan office has not been closed, and the company will make a statement if necessary," the report said.

According to the information obtained by "Report", about 10 employees of "Microsoft Azerbaijan" including General Manager Gachay Mirzayev were laid off and several employees left the company.

The laid-off employees are mainly employees of projects implemented in Russia and Ukraine and currently suspended.

Yesterday, social networks and a number of mass media published information about the closing of the office of Microsoft Azerbaijan.

According to the information provided to Qazet.az reports by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the cooperation with "Microsoft" company of Azerbaijan continues:

"Regarding the opinions expressed about the suspension of the Microsoft representative office in Azerbaijan, we inform you that each company determines its own strategy and scope of activity.

"At the same time, we bring to your attention that the termination of the Microsoft representative office does not mean the termination of the existing cooperation between the company and the government of Azerbaijan. The company successfully continues its cooperation with state institutions and private companies through the partners of Azerbaijan.
