Israeli ambassador outlines priorities of cooperation with Azerbaijan in 2023

Opening of the embassy will help to increase the tourism sector, Qazet.az reports according to Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek in an interview with Report.

“We want to see tourism breaking records and with the number of flights and infrastructure, we believe it will happen in 2023. We want to see more cultural exchanges, more musical shows here from Israel, Israeli movies in Azerbaijan,” he said.

The ambassador emphasized that there are many plans for cooperation between the states in 2023: “We are hoping to see great cooperation in the business field.”

“We have seen the decision by Azerbaijan Investment Company to sign an agreement with Israeli IDE Technologies company planned for signing in 2023 and to build the first desalinization plant on the Caspian Sea. The project is going to help desalinate hundreds of thousands of cubic tons of water every day for Azerbaijan. Thus, we really look forward in 2023 to finalize it,” George Deek told Report.
