The 2nd meeting of the Azerbaijani diaspora youth is underway in Istanbul.

Qazet.az informs that the event is being held within the framework of the project of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora to unite Azerbaijani youth ahead of the first anniversary of Azerbaijan's victory in the Patriotic War.

The meeting began with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey, and a moment's silence was observed in memory of the martyrs.

The ceremony is attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Valeh Hajiyev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Diaspora Support Fund (ADDF) Akram Abdullayev, Chairman of the Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Associations (TADEF) Adalat Turan, Deputy Chairman of the YTB Diaspora Organization Sait Yusuf, as well as nearly 60 young Azerbaijani activists from 39 countries.
