The II Games of the CIS countries will be held on August 4-14, 2023 in Belarus.

As Qazet.az reports with reference to the Kazakh media, this was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Igor Petrishenko during a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of Government in Astana.

According to him, Cuba and Mongolia will also take part in them. The possibility of participation of some BRICS countries is also being considered.

The competition program includes basketball, handball, beach volleyball, beach soccer, mini-football, field hockey.

Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan will be the venue for the III Games in 2025.

It should be noted that the I Games of the CIS countries were held in Kazan in 2021.
