The presentation ceremony of the "Gender Azerbaijan" portal was held under the joint organization of the State Committee on Family, Women and Children's Problems and the German International Cooperation Society.

Qazet.az reports that the chairman of the State Committee Bahar Muradova, representatives of state institutions, non-governmental organizations and bloggers participated in the event.

B. Muradova said that the portal was created in order to strengthen coordination and efficiency among the persons responsible for gender issues and ensure their networking.

According to him, the site also organizes activities in the field of gender equality based on more transparent principles.

It should be noted that the portal contains legislation, education, institutional mechanisms, research and other information in the field of gender equality.
