Italy seizes property of sanctioned Russians worth €900 million

Property worth €900 million was confiscated in Italy from Russians who fell under European sanctions. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country, Luigi Di Maio.

Qazet.az reports that as Di Maio noted, the country strictly adheres to international obligations on sanctions, in particular, on the confiscation of property of persons affected by restrictive measures.

“Until now, we can talk about a total amount of € 900 million. We acted quickly and consistently and will continue to do so,” the Bild building quoted the head of the Italian Foreign Ministry as saying.
