“Our key purpose is to restore the liberated territories from occupation as soon as possible and ensure the return of more than 700,000 people to their homes,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the joint press conference with Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu within the framework of the meeting of Turkish Council of Foreign Ministers in Istanbul, Qazet.az reports.
According to the foreign minister, active work is underway in the liberated territories: “In addition to the destruction, the area is heavily mined which complicates the issue. Much has been said about this. We were given mine maps of three districts, the quality of those maps is very low, is only 25 per cent accurate. These factors affect the reconstruction work. However, huge work is underway,” the head of the MFA noted.
