It was reported that this is their first meeting at the level of the head of state. The parties had a meeting in 2015. But then Joseph Biden was not the President.

It should be noted that the G20 summit will be held on November 15 in the Indonesian resort island of Bali.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will not attend the meeting.
