Kazakhstan reported 2438 new daily coronavirus cases as of Sept 20 morning, the Health Ministry said, Qazet.az reports citing AKIPress.

Almaty city recorded 506 new cases, Karaganda region - 340, Nur-Sultan - 299, Pavlodar region - 192, Almaty region - 166, Akmola region – 135, East Kazakhstan region – 115, Kostanay region – 11, 5, and Aktobe region – 106, Shymkent - 81, Atyrau - 75, 72 cases were reported in North Kazakhstan region, 67 in West Kazakhstan region, 58 in Turkestan region, 56 in Zhambyl region, 41 in Kyzylorda region, and 14 in Mangistau region.

The country has so far reported 862,862 cases.
