Khalik Mammadov: "SOCAR directs 6.8 million cubic meters of natural gas for public consumption"

6 million 800 thousand cubic meters of natural gas is collected and processed annually in the territory of the "Siyazanneft" Oil and Gas Extraction Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and is directed to the consumption of the local population.

Qazet.az reports that Khalik Mammadov, SOCAR's vice-president for human resources and security, said this during his speech at the panel discussion at the conference "Green transformation in Azerbaijan" held within the framework of the "SDG Dialogues" initiative of the UN.

According to him, 1,250 subscribers in 15 surrounding villages were supplied with natural gas due to this.
