Kim Jong Un: The US is creating an Asian version of NATO
The US is effectively creating an "Asian version of NATO" under the pretext of strengthening alliances with Japan and South Korea.
Qazet.az reports with reference to TASS that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un said this on December 31 at the 6th plenum of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
According to him, the US is trying to create a new military bloc like the Asian version of NATO under the pretext of strengthening the alliance by promoting trilateral cooperation with Japan and South Korea.
Kim Jong-un noted that the United States and enemy forces have suffered a serious blow due to the strengthening of the military potential of the DPRK: "They are now trembling with fear and anxiety."
The leader of North Korea said that they should do twice as much to strengthen their country's military potential: "The main task of the nuclear armed forces is to prevent war, maintain peace and stability. However, if this effort fails, then it is ready to perform another mission without defending itself."
