Kyrgyzstan offered to deploy a CSTO contingent on the border with Tajikistan
Kyrgyzstan proposed to deploy a contingent of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) on the border with Tajikistan.

Qazet.az reports with reference to "24.kg" that Baktybek Bekbolotov, Minister of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, said this at a press conference held in Bishkek on October 19.

According to him, CSTO General Secretary Stanislav Zasla made this proposal at the meeting: "I stated in my recent meeting with the General Secretary that there will be no peace between Tajiks and Kyrgyz. Because both sides have their own truth."

B. Bekbolotov said that there will be no peace until a third party acts as an arbiter between the two parties: "It is necessary to deploy a small contingent of the CSTO to the disputed territory between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to monitor the ceasefire and the removal of heavy equipment from the border. The work of defining the borders between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan is very good. goes".

It should be noted that on September 16, 63 Kyrgyz died and 206 were injured as a result of shootings on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
