Two people were injured in a landmine explosion in the Tartar region on February 18, 2022, Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) told Qazet.az.

According to ANAMA, the blast occurred in an area where demining operations were not carried out.

Alishan Safarov Sharif oglu, born in 1963, and Faig Safarov Ismayil oglu, born in 1965, received various injuries as a result of a mine explosion.

The victims were immediately taken to the hospital and taken under medical supervision.

The fact is being investigated by the relevant agencies.
