Latvia suspends cooperation agreement with Belarus

The Latvian government has decided to suspend the agreement on economic, scientific and technical cooperation with Belarus from 9 September.

Qazet.az reports according to TASS that the Latvian Cabinet of Ministers has published information on this subject.

The Latvian government said it accepted this decision because Belarus violated international law and supported Russia's war in Ukraine.
