Magnetic storm expected

A magnetic storm is expected from September 29 to October 1, Qazet.az reports according to the Department of Astrophysics of Baku State University (BSU).

During the last three days, despite the low solar activity, some active parts on the surface of the Sun have broken up, and C-class flares, which cannot practically affect the Earth, and M-class flares, which are weakly effective and can disrupt radio wave propagation, causing radiation and magnetic storms, have been observed.
